Job summary

Culina Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our Tilbury depot. You will lead a shift, ensuring safe, efficient operations and adherence to KPIs. This is a full-time permanent role with 4 on 4 off nights and a competitive package.

You will motivate staff, manage goods inwards and loading bays, and drive training and discipline as required to maintain high standards of accuracy and service.

Qualifications

• Previous operational experience within a warehouse environment.
• Experience in managing a large team.
• Good health and safety knowledge.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Conscientious and reliable.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
• Be proactive and able to make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate the shift team to achieve or exceed productivity and service KPIs.
• Manage Goods Inwards and Loading bays to ensure quick, damage-free receipts and available stock.
• Develop and train team members to maximise contributions and succession planning.
• Carry out disciplinary and grievance interviews and investigations per company procedure.
• Support the Shift Manager in ad hoc duties within the Warehouse function.
• Over see the cross docking process.
• Ensure the workplace is clean and tidy at all times.
• Carry out daily shift briefs and keep teams informed on relevant information.
• Ensure all areas comply with Health, Safety and Welfare policies.
• Monitor and control the work environment for optimum efficiency.
• Ensure shifts align with workload and KPIs.
• Ensure resources are utilised to their full potential.
