Job summary

Boughey Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of our warehousing team in Willaston, ensuring first-class service through personable leadership of the operations team.

You will coordinate and guide Warehouse Operatives to meet daily targets, promote SAP processes, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive continuous improvement while upholding health and safety standards. 4 on 4 off nights, with pension and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisor role within a warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety principles; IOSH advantageous.
• Experience with warehouse management systems such as SAP, Microlise, Contrado, Capture IT.
• Proven leadership and effective communication with strong organisational skills.
• Initiative-taking with an eye for problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and guide Warehouse Operatives to achieve daily warehousing targets and KPIs safely and efficiently.
• Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, dispatching and quality of goods, promoting SAP processes and handling non-compliance.
• Organise inventory and storage areas, ensure shipment and inventory accuracy, resolve discrepancies with corrective action.
• Maintain records and handover information for the next shift to management.
• Lead and motivate the team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
