Job summary

DPD Group is seeking an experienced Night Shift Manager to lead a depot night team, keeping operatives engaged, organized and motivated while unloading lorries efficiently. You will ensure accurate sortation to hit KPI targets and CAD percentages, and drive throughputs while meeting saturation and parcels-per-hour goals.

You will also oversee additional staffing at short notice and uphold health & safety, productivity and cost targets, with strong reporting and data analysis to support decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced operation with proven people management.
• Ability to motivate and lead a high-performing team.
• Strong communication and motivational skills.
• Decisive and effective decision-making; problem resolution and time management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night shift warehouse team ensuring engagement, organisation and efficiency.
• Unload incoming lorries and sort parcels to meet KPIs.
• Achieve CAD %, depot throughput, saturation and parcels-per-hour targets.
• Resourcing additional staff at short notice to cover absences.
• Uphold health & safety, productivity and cost targets.
• Provide comprehensive reporting and data analysis.
