Job summary

Washington-based logistics business is seeking a Night Shift Warehouse Manager to oversee the chilled distribution operation. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring a proactive manager who can drive performance, ensure quality, and uphold customer service standards during the night shift.

You will lead and develop the night team, coordinate with transport, monitor KPIs, ensure safe receipt, storage, picking and despatch, and complete shift handovers with accurate operational reporting,

Qualifications

• Experience leading a warehouse team in logistics, distribution, or chilled environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Good understanding of health & safety and operational compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the night warehouse team.
• Manage the day-to-day operation of a busy chilled distribution warehouse.
• Monitor productivity, KPIs, and warehouse performance.
• Maintain compliance with health & safety and company procedures.
• Work closely with the transport team to ensure smooth overnight operations.
• Conduct shift handovers and complete operational reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and warehouse processes.
