Job summary

Heron Foods in Melton is hiring Warehouse Loaders for a 40-hour week on five 8-hour night shifts, 10pm–6am, on a two-week rolling rota with every other weekend off. You’ll load stock cages into delivery vehicles, working in Freezer, Chilled or Ambient environments with full PPE.

No experience required as full training is provided. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.83, weekly pay, an attendance bonus, long service benefits and generous annual leave, plus staff discounts at Heron

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Must be reliable with good time-management and accuracy.
• Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments.
• Desirable: previous warehouse or loading experience.

Responsibilities

• Load store delivery cages accurately and efficiently.
• Operate in Freezer (down to -25°C), Chilled or Ambient environments with full PPE provided.
• Meet loading targets while maintaining safety and productivity.
• Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage time to achieve loading targets and KPIs.
