Job summary

Heron Foods in Melton is hiring Warehouse Loaders for a 40-hour week on five 8-hour night shifts, 10pm–6am, on a two-week rolling rota with every other weekend off. You’ll load stock cages into delivery vehicles, working in Freezer, Chilled or Ambient environments with full PPE.

No experience required as full training is provided. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of £13.83, weekly pay, an attendance bonus, long service benefits and generous annual leave, plus staff discounts at Heron

Our Warehouse Loaders play a vital role in ensuring our stores receive accurate, timely deliveries; helping us provide great value to customers across more than 340 stores, seven days a week.

About the Role

You'll work 40 hours per week across five 8-hour night shifts, 10pm-6am, on a two-week rolling rota with every other weekend off. Working within our Freezer, Chilled, or Ambient chambers, you'll load cages of stock onto vehicles ready for delivery to stores. This is a hands-on, active role where you'll work to targets and contribute directly to the smooth running of our distribution operation.
