Bidfood Bedford is hiring a Night Shift Warehouse Operative to prepare customer orders and ensure accurate loading for the next day’s deliveries. You’ll work across ambient, chilled and frozen zones, relying on voice picking to maintain pace and accuracy.

The role suits individuals who are active, reliable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting drivers and colleagues during night hours. Training is provided for warehouse equipment and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience using voice picking technology is beneficial but not essential.

• Reliability and flexibility to work evening and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately using voice technology headsets.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running efficiently overnight.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.
