Job summary

Heron Foods is hiring motivated Warehouse Loaders at our Melton distribution site. You will join a fast-paced distribution team that keeps stores stocked year‑round and supports multiple locations across the region. You’ll work 40 hours across five 8‑hour night shifts, 10pm–6am, with a two‑week rolling rota and every other weekend off.

Training is provided; previous warehouse experience is not required. The role offers competitive hourly pay, attendance bonus, weekly pay, and benefits including

Qualifications

• Full training provided for the role.
• Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Load store delivery cages accurately and efficiently.
• Work within Freezer, Chilled, or Ambient environments with full PPE provided.
• Manage time to achieve loading targets and performance standards.
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
