Job summary

Heron Foods is hiring motivated Warehouse Loaders at our Melton distribution site. You will join a fast-paced distribution team that keeps stores stocked year‑round and supports multiple locations across the region. You’ll work 40 hours across five 8‑hour night shifts, 10pm–6am, with a two‑week rolling rota and every other weekend off.

About the Role

You’ll work 40 hours per week across five 8-hour night shifts, 10pm-6am, on a two-week rolling rota with every other weekend off.

Working within our Freezer, Chilled, or Ambient chambers, you’ll load cages of stock onto vehicles ready for delivery to stores.

This is a hands-on, active role where you’ll work to targets and contribute directly to the smooth running of our distribution

operation.

• Work within Freezer (down to -25°C), Chilled, or Ambient environments with full PPE provided
• Manage your time effectively to achieve loading targets and performance standards
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

What You’ll Bring

• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work to KPIs
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Willingness to work in temperature-controlled environments
• No experience necessary as full training is provided

Desirable: Previous warehouse, loading, or manual handling experience.
