Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Derby (DE74 2BB) is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager - Night Shift to lead a fast-paced operation. You will manage a team, drive safety, engagement and continuous improvement, while delivering KPIs and customer service targets on a 4-on, 4-off night rota (18:30-06:30).

Qualifications

• Previous experience leading or supervising teams within a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment.
• Proficient in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage, motivate and build relationships at all levels.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in automated FMCG warehousing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and lead a warehouse team to achieve operational excellence, service targets and customer expectations
• Coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring effective task allocation, resource management and productivity performance
• Communicate KPIs, SLAs and operational priorities through regular team briefs and engagement sessions
• Champion a strong safety culture by maintaining Health & Safety standards and compliance across the operation
• Support colleague development, continuous improvement projects and employee relations activities to build a high-performing team
