Job summary

Owens Group in Wrexham is seeking a Transport Planner to join a fast-developing multisite operation. You will be responsible for timely traffic planning of routes and scheduling deliveries to ensure a first-class service at cost-effective levels.

You will plan ahead, liaise with customers and depots, monitor compliance and SAFED, and maintain Stirling and Excel records. The role requires strong organisational skills, the ability to work unsupervised, and experience in traffic management.

Qualifications

• Experience at a similar level.
• CPC holder desirable (National) but not essential.
• Job-specific qualification preferred.
• Traffic Management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and schedule deliveries to ensure timely customer service.
• Liaise with depots, drivers and customers to resolve problems.
• Monitor compliance and SAFED initiatives.
• Maintain Stirling and Excel spreadsheets.
