Job summary

ScotRail is recruiting Train Presentation Team Members to join the team responsible for preparing our trains for service. This hands-on role involves cleaning, safety, and ensuring trains are ready for customers before they go into service.

You will support the wider engineering function and help deliver a comfortable, reliable journey experience for millions of passengers each year. Training is provided and there are opportunities for progression within the team.

Qualifications

• Foundational safety awareness and ability to follow risk assessments.
• Ability to work within a team and use initiative to meet standards.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all aspects of train cleaning in line with presentation standards and service quality requirements.
• Identify and report defects to support a safe and comfortable customer experience.
• Follow all safety procedures, risk assessments, and wear appropriate PPE.
• Participate in safety initiatives and contribute to a positive safety culture.
• Use IT systems where required and undertake duties directed by the Team Leader.
