Job summary

Compassionate Care Group Ltd. is seeking a Mental Health Team Leader– Complex Children in Knowsley, UK, for full-time night shifts. A Full Clean UK Driving Licence is essential, and you will work with a child with complex mental health needs, providing therapeutic support and trauma-informed care.

The role involves collaboration with families, CAMHS and education providers, with a focus on independence, wellbeing and positive outcomes in a highly supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or over.
• Must drive and have Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Experience with children or young people with mental health conditions is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with a child presenting with complex mental health needs.
• Build therapeutic relationships through consistency, empathy and positive role modelling.
• Support the young person to develop emotional regulation and independence while maintaining boundaries.
• Respond calmly during distress using de-escalation and trauma-informed approaches.
• Encourage engagement in education, activities and routines to promote wellbeing and recovery.
• Collaborate with families, social workers, CAMHS and education providers to deliver person-centred support.
• Tailor approach to individual needs and promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
