Compassionate Care Group Ltd in Knowsley is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker – Complex Children to support a young person in a residential home. The role includes building therapeutic relationships, promoting emotional regulation and independence, and working closely with families and professionals.

We offer full-time roles on a rolling rota, including nights and days. Driving a valid UK licence is essential, and we provide full training along with a competitive hourly rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent English language skills are essential for this role.
• You must be 21 years of age or over.
• You must be able to drive and hold a Full Clean UK Driving Licence.
• Health & Social Care qualifications are desirable; full training will be provided.
• Willingness to work a fixed rota including days, nights and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Work directly with a child with complex mental health needs in a residential setting.
• Build trusting therapeutic relationships and support emotional regulation.
• Respond calmly during distress using de-escalation techniques.
• Support education, hobbies, community activities and daily routines.
• Collaborate with families, social workers and other professionals to deliver person-centred care.
