Job summary

Changing Lives is seeking a Night Shift Support Worker in Northumberland to provide housing support to service users during the night. You will work alongside a fellow staff member to ensure residents’ needs are met with compassion.

Based at The Woodlands Project, you will support 22 residents on-site and 16 in dispersed accommodation, on a rolling three-night pattern, contributing to a safe and supportive living environment.

About the Service - Housing & Homelessness Services

A safe home is the solid base from which you build your life. We support people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming homeless, as well as providing specialist accommodation and outreach services for rough sleepers, veterans, survivors of domestic abuse, women and young people.

About the Job

At the Woodlands Project we currently support 22 service users who live at the Project, along with an additional 16 service users living within our dispersed accommodation across Northumberland. You will be joining an established team who provide housing support to both males and females who have experienced a period of homelessness for a variety of reasons. As a night shift support worker you will work alongside another member of staff to ensure the needs of our service users are met throughout the night.

Hours of Work: 37 Hours- Three nights on, three nights off (Rolling Rota)
