Job summary

Manpower UK is recruiting a Night Shift Supervisor / Site Manager for a major turnaround project in Fawley, Hampshire. This is a temporary contract with a night shift from 18:00 to 05:00, Sunday to Friday, offering weekly pay and competitive hourly rates.

You will supervise on-site activities, provide technical guidance for pipework and mechanical installations, and ensure works meet project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision and on-site leadership.
• Knowledge of mechanical installation and pipework.
• Experience with turnaround/shutdown projects.
• Experience in industrial, petrochemical or refinery environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night shift activities on site.
• Provide technical oversight of prefabricated pipework and mechanical installations.
• Review completed works against project specifications and isometric drawings.
• Advise installation teams on positioning, alignment and integration of components.
• Identify and assist in resolving technical installation issues.
• Support quality and compliance requirements across the project.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings when required.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and in line with project standards.
• Liaise with site teams, contractors and project management personnel.

We are recruiting for a Night Shift Supervisor / Site Manager to support a major turnaround project based at Fawley. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced supervisor with a mechanical or pipework background to join a fast-paced industrial project and play a key role in ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to specification.

The Role

Working closely with project teams and site personnel, you will provide on-site supervision and technical guidance for the installation and integration of prefabricated pipework, spools and associated mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising night shift activities on site
• Providing technical oversight of prefabricated pipework and mechanical installations
• Reviewing completed works against project specifications and isometric drawings
• Advising installation teams on positioning, alignment and integration of components
• Identifying and assisting in the resolution of technical installation issues
• Supporting quality and compliance requirements across the project
• Attending technical and coordination meetings when required
• Ensuring work is carried out safely and in line with project standards
• Liaising with site teams, contractors and project management personnel

Desirable

• Previous experience within refinery, petrochemical or oil & gas environments
• Supervisory or Site Management experience on major industrial projects
• Relevant safety qualifications and site access certifications
• Experience working on turnaround or shutdown projects
