Job summary

Recruit4staff LTD is recruiting a Site Supervisor to lead a team of fitters, erectors and welders on a Wrexham site. You will allocate labour to meet the programme and brief crews on RAMS, permits and lift plans.

Responsible for safety, quality and site records while liaising with the client and contractors. The role requires valid CITB SSSTS, CSCS CCNSG/Blue, PASMA and Level 3 pipefitting qualifications, with strong leadership and risk assessment skills.

Qualifications

• Must have Team leadership and site supervision skills.
• Valid and in-date CITB SSSTS certificate.
• Time-served or trained pipefitter with Level 3 qualification in pipefitting or mechanical installation.

Recruit4staff are representing an established mechanical engineering business in their search for a Site Supervisorto work in Wrexham

Job Details

• Pay: £20 per hour PAYE / £26 per hour CIS/LTD (travel/digs payments provided)
• Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm; Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
• Duration: Temporary (ongoing)
• Job Role: The Site Supervisor will supervise, direct and organise a team of fitters, erectors, welders and mates, allocating labour to meet the site programme. As Site Supervisor, you will brief teams on RAMS, permits, lift plans and site rules, carry out point-of-work risk assessments, toolbox talks and daily briefings, and monitor safe working throughout each shift. The Site Supervisor will also control the quality and progress of installations, manage materials and equipment, maintain site records and liaise with the client, principal contractor and other trades.

Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications

• Previous pipe fitting and site installation experience, including experience leading a team in a Site Supervisor or similar capacity
• Valid and in-date CITB SSSTS certificate
• Time-served or formally trained pipefitter with a Level 3 qualification in pipefitting, mechanical installation or a closely related discipline
• City & Guilds, NVQ or other relevant qualification
• Valid CSCS Blue or CCNSG card
• Valid PASMA card for mobile access towers
• Strong understanding of site safety, workmanship standards and team supervision expected of a Site Supervisor

• CSCS Gold Supervisor card
• Appointed Person or Lift Supervisor certification (CPCS or NPORS)
• Temporary Works Coordinator training
• First Aid at Work
• Slinger/Signaller (CPCS) qualification
• IPAF 3a & 3b
