Job summary

Asda Inverness is seeking a Night Manager to lead the night team, ensuring the store runs smoothly while the rest of the world sleeps. You will manage stock, availability and shopfloor standards across departments during a 4 nights-in-7 schedule, with 24-hour operation coverage and a focus on safety and compliance.

The role requires experience supervising in a retail grocery environment, the ability to make independent decisions, and a strong customer service ethos.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, ideally overnight.
• Ability to make decisions independently with a hands-on attitude.
• Strong customer service focus and flexibility to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach night team to maintain shopfloor standards across all departments.
• Ensure availability, stock integrity and high cleanliness for the night period.
• Oversee operations through the night and hand over to day team smoothly.
• Drive delivery, waste management and compliance with safety rules.
