Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a night-shift senior care assistant for Southbourne Beach Care Home. The role focuses on delivering personal care, monitoring residents' wellbeing, updating care plans when needed, and acting as a key contact for families and health professionals.

• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team.
• Monitor residents' wellbeing and amend care plans as needs change.
• Carry out monthly evaluations and participate in person-centred care planning.
• Support residents with their medication.
• Supervise staff and support staff development.
• Act as key contact for residents, relatives, visitors and health professionals, escalating concerns as needed.
