Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Senior Care Assistant – Nights at Southbourne Beach Care Home in Bournemouth. You will work with the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, ensuring a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents and staff.

You’ll monitor wellbeing, assist with care plans, support medication needs, and participate in staff supervision and development.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent in care homes.
• 2 years’ experience working in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care in a safe, caring and inclusive environment.
• Monitor residents’ wellbeing and update care plans as needed.
• Support residents with medication requirements where required.
• Supervise staff and support their development.
