Job summary

Ward Security is seeking a Security Officer for Buckinghamshire's business park. You will be the first point of contact for staff and visitors, maintain a professional environment, and protect property. Responsibilities include access control, patrolling, incident reporting, and emergency response.

Requirements include SIA and CCTV licences, 2+ years of security experience, and strong customer service and IT skills. This role covers Friday–Sunday night shifts at Aylesbury, HP18 0XB.

Qualifications

• SIA licence and CCTV licence required.
• Minimum 2 years as Security Officer.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• IT literate with ability to operate detection and emergency equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as information point for staff and visitors.
• Guard access points and manage entry refusals.
• Conduct foot patrols within defined areas.
• Complete daily security reports with observations and footage.
• Respond to emergencies per corporate policy and report incidents.
• Operate pass systems and basic switchboard.
• Carry out lawful searches of vehicles and persons.
