Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for Dunkirk Memorial House in Somerset. You will work two night shifts per week (19:45–08:15) on a one-year fixed-term contract, contributing to high-quality, compassionate care for our veterans and their families.

You will lead a care team, ensure safe and effective clinical practice, and support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being within a warm home environment.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with clinical experience in care home or similar setting.
• Experience in leading a team and promoting high standards of practice.
• Awareness of Health and Safety regulations and best practices.
• Management of Medicines Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Minimum Asset Level 2 in Dementia Care (or willingness to undertake).
