Job summary

The Royal British Legion is seeking a compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our dementia care team. This full-time role covers 36 hours per week on night shifts in the Dementia unit, with a rota across 7 days. You will support residents with personal care, mobility and meals, while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care settings preferred.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Willingness to work flexible night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily routines of residents.
• Ensure residents' comfort and dignity at all times.
• Support with mobility, nutrition, and medication as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe and welcoming environment.
• Maintain accurate care records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
