Job summary

Sainsbury's in Kendal is seeking a Customer Assistant on nights to help keep the store running smoothly. You will pack shelves, move stock and assist customers at the till, bringing energy to a fast-paced environment and working as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly customer service in a busy environment.
• Able to work nights and adapt to varying tasks.
• Comfortable handling stock and assisting colleagues.
• Good communication and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

• Get the store ready for the day by stocking shelves and moving stock safely.
• Keep workspaces tidy and aisles presentable for customers.
• Move stock from warehouse to shopfloor, including heavy items.
• Serve customers at checkouts when trained and confident.
• Work across store areas including chilled/frozen zones.
• Use equipment and digital tools to complete tasks accurately.
