Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Kendal is seeking a Customer Assistant for night shifts at the Kendal Store. The role is permanent and part-time, with 27.75 hours per week, offering a £13.23 per hour rate and a flexible night schedule.

Availability and shift planning are provided in advance, with a strong focus on accuracy, teamwork and customer service. You'll work across store areas, support stock movement from warehouse to shopfloor, and may assist with online orders or checkout duties after

Responsibilities

• Getting the store ready for the day ahead by filling shelves, working at a good steady pace throughout the night and being prepared to work with a variety of product types.
• Keeping your workspace tidy for other colleagues and making sure our aisles are clean, presentable and ready for our customers the next day.
• Collecting and moving stock safely from the warehouse to the shopfloor, including heavy equipment and containers.
• Working across different parts of the store, which could include chilled and frozen areas.
• Using equipment, handsets and digital systems to complete your work accurately and safely.
