Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd in Newbury is seeking a part-time Night Customer Assistant to join our team. You will work 21:00 to 07:00, 27.75 hours per week, in a fixed-term assignment, helping prepare the store for the day ahead and ensuring shelves are stocked and neat for customers.

The role requires flexibility to work nights, energy and resilience for a physically demanding environment, and a commitment to customer service. Right to work in the UK and being 18+ are essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK
• Minimum age 18 due to night hours and handling goods such as alcohol

Responsibilities

• Prepare store for day ahead by stocking shelves and working at a steady pace during the night
• Keep workspace tidy and aisles presentable for customers
• Move stock from warehouse to shopfloor safely, including heavy items
• Work across different store areas, including chilled and frozen sections
• Use equipment, handsets and digital systems to perform duties accurately and safely
• Assist in other areas as needed, including online order picking and checkout when trained
