Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a Registered Nurse for night shifts at Rosebery Manor Care Home in Epsom. You’ll act as in-charge in the Manager’s absence, ensure safe, compassionate care, and coordinate with the team to meet residents’ needs.

The role requires an active NMC registration, at least two years of nursing experience, and strong care-planning skills. A DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level nursing qualification.
• Current NMC Registration.
• Minimum 2 years’ nursing experience.
• Experience with care planning and delivering person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager as required.
• Distribute medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic conditions.
• Advise families and GPs of changes in residents’ condition and involve them in ongoing care decisions.
• Oversee deployment and supervision of the care team to ensure residents receive required care.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and care planning.
