Job summary

Avery Healthcare is looking for a warm, dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Rosebery Manor Care Home team in Epsom, Surrey. As person in charge when required, you will uphold high standards of resident care and support the manager in day-to-day operations.

You will undertake nursing tasks including medication administration, support families and GPs, supervise care staff, and contribute to accurate assessments and care planning.

Qualifications

• Hold a First Level qualification and current NMC Registration.
• Demonstrate a minimum 2 years' experience in care settings.
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to instruct and demonstrate care activities.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking nursing tasks including distribution of medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and management of chronic medical conditions.
• Advising families of residents and GPs of any changes in condition and keeping them informed.
• Supervise staff within the care team to ensure tasks are completed during duty periods.
• Provide high standards of care through accurate assessment and planning.
