Exeter Hospital, part of Beth Israel Lahey Health, is seeking a Night Shift RN to provide high-quality patient care in a Magnet-recognized environment. The role requires NH or compact-state RN licensure, BCLS, and ACLS within 1 year; BSN is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license NH or a compact state is required.
• BCLS certification or within 30 days of hire is required; BSN strongly preferred.
• ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire is expected.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards, and nursing ethics; ensures safe medication and IV administration and accurate documentation.
• Mentors new employees; supports critical thinking and professional development.
• Delegates tasks appropriately based on licensure and experience; monitors staff utilization on shift.
• Performs physical assessments and comprehensive history-taking on admission as per setting and standards.
• Prioritizes patient care issues, makes independent and collaborative clinical decisions, and balances efficiency and cost.
• Communicates effectively during hand-offs and plans care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Evaluates plan of care and outcomes with input from patients and families.
• Educates patients and families, documents responses, and develops/participates in education programs.
