Qualifications

• RN license required (NH state or compact state)
• BCLS certification or within 30 days of hire
• BSN strongly preferred
• ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies and ANA standards of practice
• Ensure safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription
• Use information technology effectively in patient care
• Documentation is accurate, timely, concise and legible
• Precepts new employees and mentors others
• Identify patient education needs and provide education
• Assess and prioritize patient care needs and plan of care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for discharge planning and follow-up
