Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Exeter Hospital is seeking an experienced RN to join our patient‑centered care team in Exeter, NH. The role requires NH or compact-state RN licensure, BCLS within 30 days of hire, and ACLS within 1 year.

Qualifications

• RN license - NH state or any compact state.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred
• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice and nursing code of ethics.
• Ensures safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Documentation is accurate, timely, concise, and legible and adheres to departmental policy.
• Integrates policies and/or national practice guidelines into patient care planning to achieve desired patient care outcomes.
• Precepts new employees and assists in their learning and development.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and monitors staff utilization during shifts.
• Performs physical assessments and collects comprehensive patient histories on admission.
• Identifies patient priorities and discharge planning needs using best practices and multidisciplinary input.
• Communicates effectively during patient hand-offs and plans of care with the team.
