Qualifications

• RN license in NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS certification or within 1 year of hire.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital policies, ANA standards of practice, and nursing code of ethics.
• Ensures safe, timely and accurate medication and IV administration and transcription.
• Documents accurately, timely and legibly per policy.
• Mentors new employees and supports ongoing professional development.
• Delegates appropriately and supervises team members during shifts.
• Performs comprehensive physical assessments and ongoing patient evaluations.
• Plans and prioritizes care, communicates hand-offs, and ensures discharge planning needs.
• Develops and participates in patient and family education and community programs.

Education
