Job summary

Harbour Healthcare in Leek is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts to assess care needs and deliver direct nursing care in a supportive, values-driven environment. You will work with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check required for Children and Adults.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and provide health supervision and direct nursing care when required.
• Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all clients.
• Ensure client care plans are completed and maintained with clients, relatives and other health care professionals per NMC guidelines and company policy.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document per company procedures and NMC guidelines.
• Maintain integrity in dealings with clients' personal and financial affairs and avoid abuse of the privileged relationship.
• Supervise and instruct junior staff in all aspects of care work and provide guidance as needed.
• Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.
• Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team; provide administrative support when required.
