Job summary

Harbour Healthcare are seeking a Registered Nurse for Nights Bank at Allerton Lodge Care Home in Woolton, Liverpool. The role covers 36 hours per week with a pay rate of £20.16 per hour.

You will assess care needs, administer medications, supervise junior staff and participate in mandatory training to ensure high standards of resident care. Experience in nursing, NMC registration and commitment to patient-centred care are essential.

Qualifications

• Provide direct nursing care and health supervision to clients.
• Administer prescribed medicines following policy and NMC guidelines.
• Supervise and train junior staff.
• Attend mandatory training and maintain professional standards.
• Maintain care plans in collaboration with clients and relatives.

Responsibilities

• Assess all aspects of client care needs and provide health supervision and direct Nursing Care when required.
• Assess social and health care needs of new clients and maintain ongoing assessment and review of all other clients.
• Ensure that client care plans are completed and maintained in conjunction with clients, relatives and other health care professionals.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document as per policy and NMC guidelines.
• Supervise and instruct junior nursing staff and provide guidance as needed.
• Attend mandatory training days/courses on or off site when required.
• Establish and maintain good communication with clients, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
