Job summary

A.F. Blakemore & Son Ltd is seeking motivated Warehouse Operatives to join the Bedford Depot team on a night shift (10pm–6am).

The role involves reach truck driving, efficient replenishment, and safe handling of customer orders in a temperature-controlled warehouse in Bedford (MK41 7BJ). The job offers a 40-hour week on a 5-out-of-7 rota including weekends, with additional pay premiums for higher performance, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Numerate and literate with warehousing/distribution experience.
• Ability to work efficiently in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Replenishment of picking fixtures accurately.
• Labeling and relabeling bulk storage pallets.
• Adhering to stock rotation procedures.
• Transfer of bulk stock to correct areas.
• Record stock movements on storage systems or documents.
• Assemble customer orders accurately.
• Load goods onto cages/pallets safely.
• Prepare vehicles prior to loading.
