Job description

The Role: Checking quality requirements for all products manufactured by Deli Lites, ensuring that products are manufactured in line with Product Specifications, Food Safety, Food Legality, and Factory Hygiene Standards. Reporting any NCRs and GMP issues.

Your Duties:

• Safeguard your own safety and that of others while performing your duties.
• Support the Deli Lites Quality Team.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures for Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Hygiene.
• Approve in-process production by verifying specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating adjustments to supervisors.
• Approve finished products through specifications verification, testing, and rework if necessary.
• Complete paperwork and records of checks, including weight, temperature, label, metal detection, and checkweigher checks.
• Communicate Internal and Supplier Non-Conformances through Daily Quality Reports.
• Maintain measurement equipment and report repairs needs.
• Support production to prevent the use of sub-standard ingredients and ensure only safe, quality products leave the site.
• Assist NPD and Production teams during trials.
• Report issues that may compromise food safety, legality, or quality to the relevant managers.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
