Job summary

Kinnerton Confectionery in Fakenham, Norfolk, is seeking a Production Team/Line Leader for nights (6pm–6am) on a 4 on 4 off pattern. You will coordinate daily line operation, monitor performance, and drive safety, quality and GMP standards.

The role requires experience in food manufacturing or FMCG, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment. Join a fast-growing, nut-safe confectionery site serving major retailers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food manufacturing, FMCG or production environment.
• Previous experience running a production line.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate the day-to-day operation of a production line to meet safety, quality and performance targets.
• Monitor line performance and minimise downtime and waste.
• Coach Production/ Process/ Mixing Operatives to follow production, quality and food safety standards.
• Carry out product and process checks to ensure products meet specification.
• Ensure materials are available and production plans are delivered on time.
• Drive good housekeeping, safety and GMP standards across your area.
• Make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Understand quality, food safety and health & safety standards.
