Gressingham Foods is seeking a Line Leader for night shift operations. You will supervise a team of operatives, drive production efficiency, maintain hygiene standards, and control costs in a remote location.

The role requires leading by example, coaching staff, and implementing process improvements while ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. Successful candidates will be responsible for overall line performance and training coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be able to motivate and supervise a team of operatives to meet production targets and quality.
• Ability to monitor production efficiency using KPI data and reports.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards and comply with health & safety requirements.
• Monitor labour costs and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Technical Team and Training to deliver multi-skilling.

Responsabilités

• Motivate and supervise a team of operatives to achieve production volumes at target quality and cost.
• Monitor production efficiency with KPI information and SIC boards.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards throughout the department.
• Monitor labour costs against standards and implement improvements.
• Ensure data flow for KPI reports in conjunction with Production Manager.
• Review production methods to improve efficiency.
• Monitor waste levels and take corrective actions.
• Prepare daily setup of department machinery for optimal performance.
• Coordinate with Personnel Manager/Training to develop training and multi-skilling.
• Maintain production control procedures with Technical Team and PC’s per standards.
• Perform other duties as required and supervise Health & Safety in the department.
