Job summary

Kinnerton Confectionery in Fakenham, Norfolk, is hiring for production/packing roles on a 4 on 4 off pattern. Opportunities include day or night shifts with set days or nights and comprehensive training.

Grade pay bands start from Grade 1 to Grade 3, with progression based on grading. Prior manufacturing or food production experience is welcome, and applicants should be reliable with a strong work ethic.

• Experience in manufacturing or food production is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to follow procedures and health & safety standards.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production and packing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, GMP, hygiene and quality procedures.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately.
• Carry out quality checks to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain clean and organised work areas.
• Support waste reduction and continuous improvement activities.

Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off - Days or nights available - you will only work set days or nights, no rotation

Days (6am - 6pm)

• Grade 1 £12.86 per hour
• Grade 2 £13.19 per hour
• Grade 3 £13.59 per hour

Nights (6pm - 6am)

• Grade 1 £13.85 per hour
• Grade 2 £14.28 per hour
• Grade 3 £14.70 per hour
• Operate production and packing equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow food safety, GMP, hygiene and quality procedures
• Complete production records and documentation accurately
• Carry out quality checks to meet customer specifications
• Maintain clean and organised work areas
• Support waste reduction and continuous improvement activities
• Experience within manufacturing, production, warehouse or food environments is desirable but not essential. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strong work ethic and take pride in doing a great job, we'd love to hear from you.

Our Fakenham site operates across three key production areas - Novelty, Nut, and Moulding, each led by a Plant Manager and supported by dedicated Shift Managers working on a 4 on 4 off pattern across days and nights. The site is a 11,000m² facility producing over 8,500 tonnes of confectionery annually, including NOMO - the UK’s #1 free-from chocolate brand.
