Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication processes including bending, grinding, welding, or related manufacturing tasks.
• Knowledge of sheet metal properties, tooling setups, and press brake operations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret specifications.
• Familiarity with hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Strong safety awareness in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up press brake machines by selecting tooling and programming per technical drawings.
• Operate press brakes to produce precise bends meeting quality standards.
• Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and surface quality.
• Use calipers, protractors, and tape measures to verify part specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with tooling changes, adjustments, and maintenance to optimize performance.
• Prepare bent components for assembly or further fabrication.
