Job summary

HTA Group in Coventry, part of the WEC Group, is seeking a motivated Press Brake Operator/Setter to join their engineering team. You will read and interpret drawings, set and operate a press brake, and ensure parts meet specifications while working nights Monday to Thursday.

Basic rate is £16/hour plus a £100/week shift allowance. The role offers progression within a dynamic, expanding engineering environment within the HTA Group and WEC Group family.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and focused.
• Reliable and enthusiastic.
• Able to meet deadlines efficiently and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Basic maths skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Previous experience setting a press brake machine.
• Previous experience operating a press brake machine.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and understand engineering drawings.
• Accurately record all job bookings.
• Complete operations within allocated timeframes.
• Identify and suggest process improvements.
• Visually inspect components to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Undertake first-off inspections as needed.
• Adhere to company Health & Safety standards.
• Perform additional duties relevant to the role as required.
