Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator for permanent night shift in Harlow, Essex. You will set and operate press brake machinery, produce sheet-metal components from drawings, and ensure parts meet specifications with quality and safety in mind.

The role requires experience with CNC press brakes (Amada/Trumpf/Bystronic or similar), strong measurement skills, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Nights availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake machinery and reading drawings.
• Ability to measure and verify components to tolerances.
• Comfortable working permanent nights and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate press brake machinery.
• Produce sheet-metal components from drawings.
• Carry out machine set-up and adjustments.
• Check dimensions and finished components quality.
• Work to engineering drawings and select tooling.
• Carry out routine machine checks and record production data.
• Identify production or quality issues and escalate.
• Maintain Health & Safety standards with supervisors.
