Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator for a permanent night-shift role in Harlow, Essex. The successful candidate will set up and operate press brake machinery, reading engineering drawings to produce sheet-metal components to tight tolerances.

You will carry out machine set-up, adjustments, and routine checks while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Experience with Amada, Trumpf, or Bystronic equipment is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience operating press brake machinery.
• Background in sheet-metal fabrication or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong measurement and inspection skills.
• Good understanding of tolerances and precision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate press brake machinery.
• Produce sheet-metal components from drawings to specification.
• Carry out machine set-up, adjustments and routine checks.
• Check dimensions and finished components for quality.
• Work to engineering drawings and select appropriate tooling.
