Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Night Shift Plant Engineer to assist the Site Manager in safe site operation and cost‑effective maintenance planning. The role requires electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications and experience with PL C controls or electronics is a plus.

Training will be provided for in‑house standards, with a two‑to‑three month day-shift induction before transitioning to the contracted night pattern.

Qualifications

• Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experience in process industry or engineering environment.
• Experience with PLC controls or electronics is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support Site Manager with safe operation of the site.
• Oversee Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) system and downtime planning for major equipment.
• Work night shifts 19:30–06:00, with training on day shifts during induction period.
