Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead Area Managers on night shifts and deliver an actionable plan to improve safety, quality and productivity across fulfilment sites.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance and Safety teams to push operational excellence, mentor managers, and shape the day-to-day operational plan to meet targets and respond to demand. This role focuses on delivering fast, accurate fulfilment and continuous site improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or related field.
• Experience in people management.
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in making data driven business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Area Managers.
• Lead operational teams on night shift, deal with issues, and positively impact site performance.
• Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellence.
• Work closely with other support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
• Design and deliver initiatives across the sites to improve operational performance.
