Job summary

The Methodist Church in Britain is seeking a Night-shift Registered Nurse to join Poets Mews Care Home, part of Avery Healthcare Group. The role involves acting as person in charge, supervising staff, and delivering comprehensive nursing care including medications, dressings, catheterisation and tube feeding.

You will work in a luxury elderly care setting with DBS checks and UK work eligibility verification. A minimum of two years' care experience and current NMC registration are required.

Qualifications

• First Level nursing qualification
• Post-basic studies or qualification supporting up-to-date care knowledge

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge, standing in for the Manager when required
• Undertake nursing tasks including medication, dressings, catheterisation, tube feeding and chronic condition management
• Advise families and GPs of changes in condition
• Deploy and supervise care team staff during duty period
• Provide high standards of care through assessment and care planning
