We are thrilled to announce we are recruiting for a Night Shift Manager in Hemel Hempstead.

We are looking for a Night Shift Manager to join the Hemel Hempstead Evri team, sharing our passion and drive to delight our customers.

Our Night Shift Manager is a key role responsible for the smooth running of the Night operation in the Depot. You will lead teams of Supervisors, Night Loaders, Sorters, and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites to be delivered to the final customer. The Night Shift Manager is fully accountable for the performance of the shift, proactively seeking ways to improve cost, service, and operational efficiency.

Interested? We are looking for someone who can:

• Manage all areas of the night warehouse sortation efficiently and cost-effectively.
• Ensure depot key KPIs are achieved, e.g., sortation compliance, vehicle departure times.
• Manage the budget to achieve the agreed service levels, including productivity, labor costs, overtime, and agency usage.
• Lead, coach, and develop the shift supervisors.
• Adhere to the legal requirements of the ‘O’ Licence.

Essential skills and experience required:

• Transport knowledge, skills, or experience, including regulations.
• Management experience of leading and managing a team.
• Ability to work on own initiative in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in fast-paced logistics.
• Good communication skills and ability to liaise at all levels.
