AB Fruits is third generation multi-drop delivery business based in Bedfordshire that has a great reputation for delivering the highest quality and service levels to the foodservice industry.

Due to continued growth over the past twelve months, we are seeking a Night Manager to join our growing family business. The role will involve working alongside the Director to begin with, to fully understand the requirements and responsibilities of this role. We are offering a negotiable shift pattern to give you a genuine work life balance.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Vehicle load and route planning, to maximise the efficiency and performance of our delivery fleet.
• Collation of stock sheets and customer orders (system generated) ensuring any shortfalls / requirements are covered and ordered.
• Purchasing of stock from approved suppliers.
• Managing a team of warehouse operatives.
• Delivering a detailed handover on night activity to the day team.

For this role, we’re looking for someone who has:

• A significant amount of experience within a similar role, ideally from a fresh produce /food service background.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Good degree of computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to “think customer”
