Job summary

Grand River Foods is seeking an experienced Maintenance Millwright for the Night shift to support our high-volume production lines in Ontario. The role requires hands-on maintenance, timely repairs, and proactive problem solving to minimize downtime.

Working nights (10:30pm–7:30am, Mon–Fri with some weekend overtime), you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems, weld stainless steel, and uphold GMP, HACCP and safety standards in a cold, fast-paced

Qualifications

• Valid Millwright license with apprenticeship proof.
• Experience with lathe and milling machine operations.
• Welding stainless steel using TIG and ARC.
• 2-5 years of industrial mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain production equipment.
• Provide troubleshooting during downtime.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, MSDS, and safety standards.
• Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Maintain CMMS records of maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with maintenance planner to improve preventive tasks.
• Identify continuous improvement ideas for management.
• Promote health and safety in the workplace.
• Ensure equipment servicing and monitor energy usage.
• Perform other duties as required.
