Job summary

Stobart (Part of the Culina Group) is seeking a Night Transport Planner to join the transport team. You will oversee day-to-day planning of the transport operation in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and efficient schedules across the UK.

The role is on a Monday to Friday night shift (18:00–04:00), working with the Culina Group network to support Stobart volumes during peak periods. Strong Excel and TMS experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous Transport Planning experience.
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook.
• CPC desirable but not required.
• Experience planning 100+ tractor units across multiple depots.
• Experience using a TMS system.

Responsibilities

• Create an efficient transport plan using the latest TMS.
• Subcontracting and planning orders from multiple sites across the UK.
• Plan daily workload of fleet and bases.
• Report problems and resolve issues promptly.
• Plan collections per day to meet time-critical deadlines.
• Maintain and exceed KPI targets.
• Proactively seek continuous improvements.
• Make decisions under pressure within tight timescales.
